KEK restores Unit B2 to operation, strengthening the stability of the energy system

The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK sh.a.) has announced that Unit B2 has successfully completed the planned repairs and examinations of key equipment and has now returned to operation.

According to the official announcement, Unit B2 was started and synchronized with the power grid at around 20:26, guaranteeing the continuity of electricity production and the stability of the system in the country.

"Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK sh.a.) informs the public that Unit B2 has successfully completed the repairs and examinations of the main equipment, according to the planned plan and dynamics. The unit was successfully started and synchronized with the grid at around 20:26, guaranteeing the continuity of production and the stability of the electric power system," the announcement states.

On this occasion, the Corporation thanked the technical staff and employees for their professionalism and commitment, which enabled the resumption of the operation of Unit B2 without delay and in accordance with the highest operational standards.
