KRM "Pastrimi" applies the new price list for waste collection

The Regional Waste Company KRM “Pastrimi” JSC has notified the citizens and businesses of Pristina that it has started implementing the new price list for the municipal waste collection and transportation service, in accordance with the Regulation on Waste Management, approved by the Municipal Assembly of Pristina in December 2023 and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo (Act No. 90391).

According to the official price list document, the fee for resident households is set at 5.56 euros per month excluding VAT, respectively 6.20 euros per month with 8% VAT, while for non-resident households the annual fee amounts to 17.8 euros with VAT.

The price list also provides differentiated fees for businesses, depending on size, area and cost of service.

For small shops and craft businesses, the monthly fee in urban areas is 8.4 euros including VAT, while in rural areas it is 6 euros including VAT.

For medium and large businesses, monthly prices in urban areas range from 15 euros to 30 euros including VAT, depending on the cost of the service, while in rural areas from 8.4 to 18 euros including VAT.

The document also includes special fees for businesses and institutions with specific contracts for 1.1 m³ and 7.1 m³ containers, where the price for emptying for a 1.1 m³ container is 18 euros including VAT, while for a 7.1 m³ container it amounts to 64.50 euros including VAT.

Prices have also been set for special order services, including the collection of bulky, construction and demolition waste, as well as green waste from gardens, with rates ranging from 9.4 to 9.9 euros per cubic meter including VAT.

The "Pastrimi" RWC emphasizes that the implementation of the new price list aims to ensure a sustainable financial system, increase transparency in pricing, improve service quality, and meet environmental and public health standards.

The company remains open to clarifications and discussions with citizens and businesses, emphasizing that the priority remains a cleaner city and a fair charging process for all.
