Kleofina talks about the $1 million wedding with Benjamin Pavard: There were more Albanians

Albanian model Kleofina has shown for the first time the behind-the-scenes of her romance with French footballer Benjamin Pavard, whom she married in July of this year, after the player proposed to her on the coast of Saranda.

Invited to the show "Good Morning Stars", she recounted the moment when Pavard received her father's blessing, a turning point in their love story, and then, the scene of the romantic proposal in southern Albania.

Kleofina revealed that the marriage proposal came just a month after the French footballer met her father, who gave her approval to continue the relationship.

"The marriage proposal happened 1 month after meeting my dad. We were in Saranda, the day before my birthday. It was very beautiful, just the two of us on the beach, my brother, sister and friends who came to Albania for my birthday were spectators.

"Even though you feel that moment coming, the emotion is the same. You can't warn your brain how you're going to feel when a person proposes to you to spend your life with them, I cried, a very beautiful emotion," she confessed.

In her story, Kleofina does not hide the fact that her father's approval was crucial for the continuation of this relationship, despite her love for Benjamin.

She emphasizes that, if her father had not agreed, she would have made the difficult decision to separate from the French footballer.

"The most beautiful moment was the fact that my father loved the person I was marrying, he was giving me a sincere blessing and not just making me happy.

"It was very important, I don't want to live if they're not happy with my decisions. If he hadn't accepted, he would have separated, even though I love him. Dad is very important to me," Cleofina said.

In the interview, the Albanian model also revealed details from the luxurious wedding, which turned into a three-day celebration with around 190 guests, mostly Albanians.

She confessed that the wedding venue was decided only three months in advance, in Malfy, while adding that the ceremony expenses, which amounted to 1 million euros, were paid for by Benjamin Pavard.

"3 months before the wedding we decided on the location in Malfy, we had 190 guests, many Albanians and much less French. I flew to my wedding, it's something I want to relive with the same person, a very good feeling. She dances, she loves Albanian music. I had 6 dresses, for 3 days", the model showed on "Good Evening Stars".
