Meriton Korenica: I hope we get positive results and make Kosovo's history

The Kosovo national team continued today with great dedication its preparations for the two decisive matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle, against Slovenia and Switzerland.

The next training session took place at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium in a positive and high-intensity environment, as coach Franco Foda had all the assembled players at his disposal.

In this training, the Dardanians have focused mainly on the tactical aspect and on implementing the game philosophy that coach Foda intends to apply in the first match of this month, against Slovenia. High-pressure play, fast ball circulation and coordination in the defensive phase have been some of the elements that have been carefully worked on by the technical staff.

The atmosphere within the group is quite good and the sense of confidence for success is high, as the players are preparing with great motivation to continue the series of positive results and keep the hope of historic qualification alive.

Meriton Korenica appeared on the FFK microphone and expressed himself very optimistic about the two matches in November:

"Two very important matches for our national team. The teammates are preparing maximally for these two matches and their form is very high. Everything is going very well and I hope that we get positive results and make history for Kosovo. We have slowly started working on the tactical aspect. We have shown very good games and I hope that we continue with this high form", said Korenica.
