Kosovars make pilgrimage for Thaçi and the KLA at Holy Mass in the Vatican

Kosovo citizen Sali Bislimi, who lives in Switzerland, made a pilgrimage to former President Hashim Thaçi and the KLA at the Holy Mass in the Vatican.

He himself announced this through a Facebook post, where he says that he met the English cardinal who, as he says, blessed him and the KLA flag.

"In front of 100 people gathered inside and outside the basilica, I was very emotional with the raising of the sacred flag of the KLA and Hashim Thaçi, leader of freedom and independence," the citizen wrote.

Below is the full post:

Pilgrimage for President Hashim Thaçi and the KLA, at the Holy Mass in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican led by Pope Leo on the jubilee of the prisoners!

The Papal Prefecture grants me two tickets to participate in this holy mass.

It was a pleasure and pride that among many believers I raised my voice for the former President of my country who is serving a political prison sentence. The other pain is that he is sanctioned with visitation restrictions, which is a violation of human dignity.

The modern Vatican has always defended liberation causes, and in this case, President Hashim Thaçi deserves it.
I also met the English cardinal in the Vatican, who with devotion and love blessed me and the KLA flag, which, together with NATO, saved a people from Serbian barbarity.

This time I was accompanied by my friend from Switzerland, Damjan Markaj, who took care of me every step of the way.
Damjan's eyes often fill with tears as he recalls the war as a 12-year-old whose life was saved by the KLA together with NATO.

In front of 100.000 people gathered inside and outside the basilica, I was very moved by the raising of the holy flag of the KLA and Hashim Thaci, the leader of freedom and independence.

We also met two new priests from Kosovo at the Vatican.

Don Meritoni and Don Daniel, who with their heart and soul were in complete solidarity with our fellow citizens in The Hague.

I call on the Catholic and Muslim clergy in our country to work harder for a European Kosovo, because our long-suffering people deserve it.

We, as a nation, have also given much throughout history to protect this Vatican, along with the contribution of Gjergj Kastrioti and the Popes of Albanian origin.

The Vatican is sacred to us, even though it has not yet recognized the state of Kosovo, I hope it does so as soon as possible!

Long live Pope Leo together with America and the Albanian people!
