Kosovo Plain wakes up in the afternoon, citizens increase interest in voting

At the "Mihal Grameno" school in Fushë-Kosovo, which is the largest voting center in this municipality, the voting process for the second round of elections is going smoothly.

In the afternoon hours today, there was a greater interest among citizens to vote, while by 1:00 p.m., about two thousand citizens out of 12,339 citizens with the right to vote had voted.

The manager of this voting center, Ismet Gashi, told KosovaPress that the process is continuing normally and without significant problems so far.

"Now a larger number of citizens have started coming to vote. There are 12,339 voters in this center. So far, as of 1:00 p.m., 1,802 voters have voted. Not a satisfactory number, but this afternoon it is seen that citizens have started coming and I believe that the number of voters will increase... Not at the moment. Everything is continuing normally as a voting process," he said.

The second round of voting is taking place in Fushë Kosovë, where the LDK candidate Besnik Osmani and the LVV candidate Valon Prebreza are competing for mayor.

On the other hand, citizen Fadil Jusufi, speaking to KosovaPress, said that the voting process went well and without problems, while emphasizing the need for change in Fushë-Kosovo Polje.

"Extremely well and a good number of them had come out... We expect some changes, but there cannot be any major changes. I consider that those irregularities that were made earlier cannot be improved today. There is a possibility that some small improvements can be made, but not major ones," he said.

Another citizen also told KosovaPress the need for change in the municipality of Fushë Kosovës, while saying that the voting process went smoothly.

"It was very good. Tollovi was not there, we are waiting for changes and I hope it gets better. So far we have tried these others, now I hope it gets better with these young people," he emphasized.

In the municipality of Fushë-Kosovo, over 51 thousand citizens have the right to vote, who can vote in 16 voting centers with a total of 59 polling stations.
