Kosovo Police receives important donation from UNDP
On 09.09.2025, the Director General of the KP, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, with his associates, hosted a meeting with the Deputy Director of UNDP, Mr. Dudley Tarlton, where a donation from UNDP was received and handed over.
This donation aims to strengthen capacities for public security and border control. On this occasion, Colonel Hoxha expressed his gratitude to UNDP, since through this donation, for the first time in the Kosovo Police, an e-Learning platform (virtual learning) has been developed and functionalized, where the police have also benefited from dedicated training for the maintenance and development of new training on this platform.
Also at this handover ceremony, the police received advanced iBase and Analyst Notebook software/licenses, which enable the collection and analysis of information on cases related to firearms, ammunition and explosives and which will further increase the efficiency of the Main Weapons Point (FFP).
In addition, 25 handheld scanners will be used for more efficient controls at border crossings, the Green Line and Pristina International Airport, increasing operational capacity and citizen security. This donation strengthens inter-institutional cooperation, which contributes to the development of a more modern and advanced police system.
