Kosovo Security Force part of the international exercise "Dynamic Front 26" in Germany
The Kosovo Security Force, with a contingent from the Third Infantry Regiment with a mortar platoon, is participating in the international exercise "Dynamic Front 26", organized by the US Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF).
The Dynamic Front field exercise is a multinational exercise that tests the interoperability of NATO and partner armies in the field of artillery and indirect fire. This year, the exercise was conducted in parallel in five countries: Germany, Romania, Poland, Spain and Turkey.
The KSF has landed in Germany, at the Grafenwöhr Training Area, with its own logistical capacities, including vehicles, weapons and ammunition.
The KSF contingent operated in conjunction with the 4-319th Field Artillery Regiment of the United States Army. The mortar platoon, with its constituent elements – the Fire Line, the Fire Control Center and the Forward Observers – as well as 120 mm mortars, conducted fire on targets in coordination with the US Army and Italian Army troops.
During Field Exercise Dynamic Front 26, the KSF demonstrated its experience in day and night mortar firing, as well as exchanged lessons and best practices with partner forces.
The KSF is demonstrating professionalism and discipline every day by interacting with partners for the benefit of peace and security.
