Kosovo and Bulgaria aim to increase economic cooperation
The opportunities for deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, the challenges and priorities faced by businesses in Kosovo and Bulgaria, were the focus of discussions at the meeting held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo, Haxhi Bajraktari, and Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
According to a statement from the Embassy of Kosovo in Sofia, Ambassador Bajraktari praised the role of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in supporting and creating a suitable environment for the operation of businesses in the respective markets, and at the same time offered the readiness of the Embassy and the responsible institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to support initiatives that increase economic and trade ties with Bulgaria.
Meanwhile, BCCI President Simeonov, offering the professional expertise of the institution he leads, assessed that there is potential for cooperation and expressed interest in advancing economic relations to higher levels, with particular emphasis on promoting trade exchanges and intensifying economic dialogue between the two countries.
