Kurti expresses condolences on the death of boxing legend Nazif Gashi

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has expressed condolences on the passing of Kosovar boxer Nazif Gashi.

Through a telegram of condolence, Kurti said that today Kosovo lost not only a great athlete, but one of the figures who built our modern boxing on discipline, character and dedication.

"{His passing reminds us that our sport has been shaped by figures who worked hard, asked for little for themselves and left behind a legacy that will not fade. Sincere condolences to the Gashi family, the boxing community and all sports lovers. The memory of Nazif Gashi will remain eternal, as will his work and activity," Kurti wrote.
