Kurti from Davos promises transparency and accountability
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke about his governance so far and the economic, political and geo-strategic plans for the future leadership, in a conversation with Rory Setwart OBE at `Kosovo House` within the framework of the Davos Forum.
Increasing the quality of services, transparency of processes, and accountability were Kurti's promises from Davos, as he said that there is great resistance among people not to return to a corrupt political system.
"We must lead by example, none of the government cabinet can have even the slightest imagination to work in a corrupt manner. Kosovo is a state monitored both by the international community and by our own system. I believe that accountability will be on the level," he said.
The acting Prime Minister stated that their leadership policies focused mainly on social policies, capital investments, and economic investments.
Kurti also spoke about the months-long political blockade in Kosovo, which led to early parliamentary elections and resulted in a result of 51% of the votes for the LVV.
Kurti also spoke about Serbia and Russia's destabilizing plans for Kosovo, specifying the Russian hybrid war during the last election campaign. He said that the best response to any state and hybrid attack is to have the most professional people in the Intelligence Agency, so that the reaction is at the level. /rtk/
