Kurti at ASHAK: It is important to have scientists, academies should be busy like never before

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has provided advice to the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts (ASHAK) during his stay there.

He said that this institution is superior, where there is no opinion that cannot be expressed, nor any hypothesis that cannot be raised.

"The Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts is the highest institution, where there is no opinion that cannot be expressed, no hypothesis that cannot be raised and where there is no debate that cannot be held. Through this academy, all the thoughts and elaborations of Kosovar society and the Albanian nation have passed, from the masterpieces of Albanian art to the ideas of the Renaissance about Albanianism, to aesthetic rejection and resistance in prisons, as well as the armed uprising for the liberation of Kosovo, that is, for the realization of the paradigm of freedom."

"Preserving philosophical wonder and hypothetical doubt, pursuing curiosity, cultivating research, developing study, with hope for more science and knowledge, beauty and philosophy, let us unite in our congratulations for the second half-century of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts," Kurti said.
