Kurti presents the "Skifteri" drones, which are being produced in Gjilan

The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stayed in Gjilan, where he visited the factory that is producing military drones - Made in Kosovo.

It is about the production of "Skifteri" drones, the civilian ones, and the "K1" kamikaze drone, it writes IndeksOnline.

We are building and developing the future of the defense industry and the advancement of combat drones in Kosovo. Our country is becoming a country that produces. In Gjilan, together with Mayor Hyseni, we visited the military drone production companies “Skifteri” and civilian drones, from “Future Minds Academy” and MIGA SkyShield MAR.

We have invested in defense and security by purchasing Bayraktar TB-2, Puma drones and, most recently, Skydagger suicide drones from our friendly and partner countries. Now we are also producing combat drones ourselves. As a government, both at the central and local levels, we will support and encourage capacity building and productivity, while not stopping investments in defense and security.
