Laporta reacts: Historically, referees harm Barcelona

Former Barcelona President, who is seeking another term, Joan Laporta, has reacted harshly to the referees.

He said that historically the Barcelona team has been harmed by referees, referring to last night's match, where the Catalan team suffered a defeat by Girona, writes IndeksOnline.

"There are some referees who generally always harm Barcelona. Historically this has always been the case," Laporta declared.

This statement comes after there was much controversy last night about Girona's second goal, where a foul on Kounde was alluded to.

Barcelona also made an official complaint days ago, opposing the referees' decisions for the Spanish Cup match against Atletico Madrid./IndeksOnline/
