Macedonian comforts US after terrorist attack in Syria
Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Makedonci, has expressed his sorrow over the death of two and the injury of three American soldiers during a terrorist attack in Syria.
In a reaction on Facebook, the Macedonian emphasizes that the pain is greater considering that the soldiers were from the state of IOWA, a friendly state of Kosovo, with which Kosovo has cooperation within the framework of the partnership program between the KSF and the National Guard.
"On this occasion, I express my most sincere condolences to Major General Stephen E. Osborn, Commander of the IOWA Guard, Governor Kim Reynolds, and all the citizens of IOWA and the United States," wrote Makedonci.
He also emphasized that the United States' commitment to peace and security in the world is a noble mission, for which Kosovo is very grateful.
