Macedonian tourist recounts moments of fear in Banjska: We saw armed people in the hotel
At the Basic Court in Pristina, the testimony of Macedonian citizen Goran Taneski has begun, who spoke about the anxieties he experienced on the critical day, when he was staying at the "Ranjska Banjska" hotel.
"I still have such anxieties," he declared, reports IndeksOnline.
He announced that he was in Kosovo as a tourist that day.
Gorani was staying at the "Rajska Banjska" hotel as a tourist when the armed attack occurred.
"We arrived on the 22nd, Friday, me, my partner and my minor child, my sister and my son-in-law. The idea was to rest a bit and visit the monastery," he said.
He emphasized that the visit was private with his family.
"On the day these shenanigans took place, shots were heard, in the morning that day we saw people in uniform. And one person was in the hotel," he stressed.
The prosecution asked him to describe the person who was in the hotel.
"The people we saw outside the hotel were two men in uniforms without insignia, without badges, and with military weapons. The one who was in the hotel could only see his rifle, not his uniform; he was looking for something similar, like a blanket," Goran Taneski said.
