Mass beating in Stuttgart, 16-year-old injured

A sixteen-year-old was shot dead in a playground in Stuttgart, after a fight between 10 to 15 people.

Police arrived in 18 vehicles and criminal investigators surrounded the playground and secured evidence. The cause of the fight and shooting is not yet clear, according to German media.

The injured 16-year-old was later found in the Nordbahnhof neighborhood, about seven kilometers from the scene of the fight. Police said his condition was not life-threatening.

German police have not yet released information on the identities of the participants, but said they are continuing investigations into the case.
