Mayor Veseli in Pestovo: In the second decade of independence, the real heroes will be the producers

Manufacturing and processing businesses will be supported even more with grants, subsidies and fiscal policies, so that they have more production for the internal and external market.

This is what the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, said today at the "Potato Day" event held in Pestovo, Vushtrri.

In front of farmers and potato processors, President Veseli emphasized that Kosovo is a country of hardworking people and great opportunities in the economy.

"Contemporary patriots are the producers, the hard workers of Kosovo, those who with their work, with their economic initiatives, open new jobs", he said, adding that the vision in the second decade of independence is for Kosovo to produce and export as many products as possible.

"The Government of Kosovo has clear obligations: to provide full support to local businesses. To support them, not only with subsidies, but also with the required fiscal facilities and other measures, so that Kosovar products can penetrate international markets," declared Mayor Veseli.
