Mel B reveals in autobiography that she considered suicide

The famous "Spice Girls" singer, Melanie Brown, otherwise known as Mel B, has published her autobiography titled "Brutally honest", where in an excerpt she tells about the difficult period she went through on the X-Factor.

While on the jury, Mel B confessed that at the time she was using cocaine every day and had even attempted suicide.

"I was very sad, I was out of control. On 'X Factor' I was taking 6 doses of cocaine a day, before and after work. They made me forget everything, except the spectacle," she said.

She tried to overdose on painkillers and felt "emotionally abused, estranged from her family, ugly, hated by the people who once promised to protect her. Her ex-husband and ex-manager threatened to release the sex tapes."

However, fortunately, Mel B recovered and appeared on "X Factor" a few days later, although she suffered serious liver damage.
