Musk: Without Artificial Intelligence and Robots, America Would Go Bankrupt
In a recent interview, Elon Musk, once again issued a stark warning about the growing debt of the United States, noting that without the massive application of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, the country will be 1,000% bankrupt. According to him, there is no alternative solution that can stabilize public finances.
Musk argues that the only realistic way out of the debt crisis is to allow time for the widespread use of Artificial Intelligence and robots, with the goal of reducing debt through increased productivity and economic activity. Without this technological momentum, he warns, the United States could fall into financial collapse before the new technologies are developed.
Artificial Intelligence and robotics as the only way out of the debt spiral.
Musk was asked why, despite his belief in technological growth, as head of the US Department of Government Efficiency, he insisted strongly on reducing budget spending. Musk replied that such an approach was necessary because of widespread waste and fraud within the state apparatus.
He said that the US public debt is currently around $38.5 trillion, while annual interest costs have already exceeded the US military budget, as well as spending on several key social programs.
"Without artificial intelligence and robots, we're truly done," Musk reiterated, emphasizing that it is the only mechanism that can change the country's fiscal trajectory in the long term.
