New BMW X5 and 8 Series caught testing in Slovenia

Both BMW's new cars, the X5 and 8-Series, will be launched next year, but the company is still busy testing prototypes in cities around the world.

The X5 and 8-Series were photographed in Ljubljana, Slovenia, reports IndeksOnline.

As you can see, the camouflage is complete crap, revealing very little about the SUV's shape and other elements.

But the X5 was also photographed earlier with less camouflage, showing larger grilles, a more pronounced "nose", smaller taillights - at least the edges are noticeably smaller.

The new X5 model also looks longer than the current and previous models, with more space for passengers and luggage.

In terms of performance, something similar to what is found in the 5 and 7 Series is expected. A variety of gasoline and diesel engines, including a plug-in hybrid model and two V8 M powertrains, with 600 horsepower.

As for the new 8-Series model, the car is expected to be very close to the concept presented a few months ago. The 8 Series will also use the CLAR platform, offering customers a choice of Coupe or Convertible, as well as a more powerful M8 version. /IndeksOnline/
