Opel Astra has been redesigned, a major change in appearance
Opel will launch a completely refreshed Astra. The car will be presented to the public for the first time at the Brussels Motor Show from January 9 to 18, 2026. The changes are noticeable at first glance, but also noticeable in the technology, interior offerings and electric range.

The biggest visual innovation is the redesigned front end with the evolved Opel Vizor design. For the first time on an Astra, an illuminated Opel badge appears, from which horizontal and vertical light lines radiate, inspired by the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo concept.

A significant step forward has been made in the electric version. The Astra Electric now has a 58 kWh battery and a WLTP range of up to 454 kilometers, which is around 34 kilometers more than before. Another new feature is the V2L function, which allows the vehicle to supply power to external electrical devices, such as camping equipment.

No details have been released about other powertrains, so it is assumed that the Astra will continue to offer petrol, diesel, hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.Indeksonline/
