Operation “The Wanted”: 37-year-old wanted for murder extradited from Belgium

As a result of the cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and their counterparts in Belgium, during the next phase of the international operation codenamed "The Wanted", the procedure for the extradition from Belgium to Albania of the citizen:

M.Ç., 37 years old, born in Elbasan. This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, on 22.11.2024, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", "Criminal organization", "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Active corruption in the private sector".
