Osmani for BBC: Kosovo knows how to achieve peace

Kosovo's President, Vjosa Osmani, has stated to the BBC that Kosovo knows how to achieve peace, emphasizing its historical experience and the role of international cooperation.

Osmani, one of the world leaders who has joined the Peace Board of US President Donald Trump, said that there are many reasons why Kosovo has become part of this mechanism.

She recalled that 26 years ago Kosovo was devastated by war and that genocide was being committed against its people, while the intervention of the United States, with the support of the United Kingdom and other democratic countries, saved lives and paved the way for peace, freedom and independence for the country.
