Osmani meets with his Singaporean counterpart, Shanmugaratnam

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, yesterday in Davos.

President Osmani, after the meeting, wrote:

Following our first meeting in Singapore, yesterday in Davos I had the pleasure of meeting again with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam. We discussed our excellent interstate relations, opportunities for intensifying economic cooperation, and coordination in the international arena.

After the visa liberalization for our citizens with diplomatic and official passports, I proposed that the next step be the full visa liberalization for all our citizens, a step that would further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries and bring our peoples closer together. We also discussed the organization of the joint economic forum, and the importance of opening new chapters of cooperation between our two countries in numerous areas of mutual interest.
