Pacolli: The state should take away the money from fake veterans

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, has proposed that if it is discovered that there are false veterans in the lists, the means they received should go to the families of those who lost their relatives during the war. killed, disappeared, or maimed or violated.

He wrote on Facebook that he is closely following the so-called fake veterans issue and understands the stance of American allies on it.

"Friends help us financially and have the right to know where their money ends up. I also understand the concern of civil society. I have no comment on the matter while the prosecution is investigating, I am a politician and I do not want to influence justice. But I have a proposal; if it is discovered that there are fake veterans on the list, I will propose that the funds they received go to the families of those who lost their relatives during the war, killed, disappeared, or maimed and raped. The state of Kosovo, society owes it to these families who have one, two or more victims. I myself help many of them, but the state should help institutionally. This way we would do real justice to the victims of the war," Pacolli wrote.
