Peja: Police provide details after a police officer's car was burned

Tonight at around 20:00 PM, Kosovo Police was notified that a car was engulfed in flames on "Pala Klementi" street in Peja.

The news was confirmed by Indeksonline Police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi.

"Tonight at around 20:00 we received information that a car was on fire on 'Papa Klementi' street in Peja. Police units and firefighters immediately arrived at the scene. No one was injured, while only material damage was caused," stated Gashi.

He announced that the state prosecutor and a fire expert have arrived at the scene to investigate the causes of the incident.

According to Gashi, the car was private and owned by a member of the Kosovo Police.

Earlier, IndeksOnline reported that the police officer in question, the victim of this incident, is Endrit Hajdari.
