Pirro in front of Muja's grave - Abelard Tahiri: Freedom was won with sacrifice and must be preserved with dignity

PDK candidate for deputy, Abelard Tahiri, has shared a powerful commemorative message on the 27th anniversary of the fall of Mujë Krasniqi and 40 fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Publishing a photo of his son, Pirros, in front of the grave of Commander Mujë Krasniqi, Tahiri emphasized the connection between the sacrifice of the past and the responsibility towards future generations.

"For Pirro and for all our children: freedom has a name, a history, and a responsibility," Tahiri wrote.

He pointed out that this moment symbolizes the meeting between the past and the future of Kosovo.

"Here, before the sacrifice that brought us freedom, the past and the future meet in silence," he emphasized.

Tahiri recalled that Kosovo's freedom did not come by chance.

“The past teaches us that freedom is not given, but is earned with blood, courage and faith,” he wrote.

While speaking about the obligation to martyrs, Tahiri added:

"The future obliges us to preserve that sacrifice, honor it, and make it worthwhile, with justice, dignity, and love for the country."

The post concludes with a message of respect for the fallen:
