The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has given the good news about the removal of asbestos from public buildings.

This material is dangerous to the health of citizens.

Rama said that asbestos is now being replaced with safe and environmentally friendly materials.

Pristina is beyond contaminated materials, said the mayor of the capital in a video published on Facebook.

"For the first time in the capital, we are removing asbestos from public buildings. The material that seriously harms the health of residents is now being replaced with safe, environmental and renewable materials. Pristina is beyond contaminating materials," said Rama.
