Protest in Tirana for the leaders of the KLA, Edi Rama, Alfred Moisiu and Ali Ahmeti speak
The Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization announced today that Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will participate in the nationwide protest to be held on October 17 at 17:00 PM in Tirana, where a call will be made for a fair trial in The Hague of the leaders of the KLA.
The chairman of OVL-UCK, Hysni Gucati, announced this at the press conference, where he also indicated that former Albanian president Alfred Moisiu and the chairman of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, will speak.
Gucati also indicated that 60 buses will depart from Kosovo to Tirana.
A similar protest took place in The Hague on September 14 in support of former KLA leaders who are being tried in the Specialist Chambers.
The main trial is underway at the Special Court in The Hague against former President Hashim Thaçi, former Speakers of Parliament Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and former MP Rexhep Selimi, accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity, charges that all four have denied.
