Rodri doubtful for derby against Liverpool

Manchester City midfielder Rodri is a doubt for Sunday's match against Liverpool.

The Spanish midfielder has recently suffered a new injury, while ahead of Sunday's derby, Pep Guardiola has stated that he does not want to risk him, writes IndeksOnline.

"I don't think we will risk Rodri against Liverpool. It's the international break, the best part of the season is ahead of us and we need him! However, we are playing without the Ballon d'Or of two seasons ago, an extremely important player," Guardiola declared.

We recall that Rodri spent almost the entire last season injured, returning to the field in May, but unfortunately he suffered other injuries after his return.
