Russia penetrates an important area of Ukraine, exploits the fog… (View)
More than 300 Russian soldiers have penetrated the southern outskirts of Pokrovsky in recent days, using dense fog as cover from Ukrainian drones and reconnaissance, the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Airborne Forces reported on Telegram today.
The Russians used fog for penetration, which significantly reduced the effectiveness of Ukrainian air operations, including drone surveillance. A video of Russian soldiers moving towards Pokrovsk in dense fog has also been circulating on social media.
According to reports, the main goal of Russian forces is to reach the northern borders of Pokrovsky and try to surround the entire urban agglomeration.
Despite limited visibility, Ukrainian defense forces continue to detect and eliminate enemy groups in urban areas. Since the beginning of November, 162 Russian soldiers have been killed in Pokrovsk and 39 others have been wounded, the Ukrainian military reported.Indeksonline/
