Samsung introduces the Galaxy Z TriFold: Its two-fold innovations

Samsung has officially unveiled its new Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone. The company said the device will go on sale on December 12 in South Korea and in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

It will be available for the US market in the first quarter of 2026, but there is no set date yet.

The phone folds inward to protect the main screen. If it is folded incorrectly, the device vibrates and displays a notification to the user. When fully opened, the TriFold has a 10-inch display, and the cover screen is 6.5 inches when folded.

It has similarities to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and weighs 309 grams. With its two hinges, the Trifold practically makes you have a tablet in your hands. The hinges are designed to withstand use and the screen has a reinforced layer.

The Trifold runs on the Snapdragon 8 chip. The rear camera is 12 MP, 200 MP, and 10 MP, while the main and top screens have 10 MP front cameras.

There's no official price yet, but it's expected to be steep. The Z Fold 7 starts at $2, so you might have to pay a little more for the dual hinges.
