Search and Rescue Association trained by American KFOR

The Search and Rescue Association team has participated in an advanced professional training organized by the American KFOR, with a focus on developing land navigation skills, reading topographic maps, and field survival techniques.

During this intensive training, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in compass orientation, identifying topographic features, and planning safe movements in unfamiliar areas. The program also included practical survival modules, including natural resource management, finding safe spots, building temporary shelters, and basic emergency signaling and communication procedures.

The association announced that this training has significantly increased the team's professionalism and readiness to operate in various terrain conditions, strengthening operational capacities and cooperation with KFOR's American partners.

Our team participated in a specialized training conducted by the US KFOR, focused on essential land navigation skills, topographic map reading, and basic field survival techniques. During this intensive training, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of compass orientation, identification of topographical features, and planning safe movements in unfamiliar areas.

In addition to cartography and practical navigation, the training also included important survival modules, such as natural resource management, finding safe spots, building temporary shelter, and basic procedures for emergency signaling and communication.
