She was not elected Speaker of the Parliament, this is Gërvalla's "poetic" reaction

Donika Gërvalla failed today to be elected Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

With the return of the constitutive sessions after the Constitutional Court's verdict, the LVV "dial" with the name of Albulena Haxhiu also returned, writes IndeksOnline.

After Haxhiu failed to be elected speaker, former speaker Glauk Konjufca took to the floor of the Assembly and proposed the name of Donika Gërvalla, inviting the deputies not to laugh but to vote.

But, Donika Gërvalla also did not receive the votes to lead the state legislature. 57 deputies voted for her, 56 were against, while three abstained.

Even the LVV MP, Shqipe Mehmeti-Selimi, did not vote for her, who justified her vote with the harsh language that Gërvalla had used in the past towards her husband, Rexhep Selimi.

To today's entire situation, Gërvalla responded with the wise words of her father, Jusuf Gërvalla.

"In the words of the poet:

"The path of honor is the most difficult, but also the best and the only true path for man."

"And whoever strives for honor, finds honor!", Gërvalla said in a Facebook post.
