Significant drop in temperatures, this is the weather forecast for tomorrow
A powerful cyclone is approaching our region and will cause local rainfall tonight. This rainfall will be a mix of rain, sleet and snow depending on the region.
Tuesday morning will be accompanied by local precipitation, mainly rain, while from noon or afternoon cold polar air will penetrate with a significant decrease in temperatures, cold northern winds and local snowfall. Do not expect snow throughout the country. More snowfall is expected in the hilly-mountainous areas and in some lowlands in the north, center and east of Kosovo. In the evening, a decrease in temperatures throughout the territory and the possibility of temporary snowfall in many areas of the country, but not heavy precipitation.
Heavy snowfall is expected tomorrow in most of Montenegro, while in Albania there will be rain and snow. In some places, heavy rain with lightning and thunder is expected. Local rainfall and heavy rain are also expected in North Macedonia and the Presevo Valley. In the afternoon and evening, there is a significant decrease in temperatures in Macedonia and local snowfall is expected, more pronounced in the hilly-mountainous areas, but snow may also appear in some low-lying areas.
On Wednesday, the weather will gradually stabilize. The precipitation will stop but it will remain a little cold. Frost is expected in the evening until Thursday morning, and temperatures locally may drop to -5 degrees Celsius. In mountainous areas, the frost will be stronger.
On Thursday, after the morning frost, winds will begin to blow from the south and west during the day and as a result, temperatures will increase, however, a new cyclone is approaching from the northwest and new rain and snow are expected in the mountainous areas during the night.
On Friday, under the cyclonic influence, local rainfall is expected, while in the afternoon we will have another penetration of cold air masses of polar origin and as a result, new snowfalls and a strong decrease in temperatures are expected.
According to current synoptic trends, the weekend will be quite cold and frosty, but with gradual stabilization of the atmosphere.
So, during this week we have the opportunity to see big changes in weather conditions and temperatures. We have the opportunity to see several seasons within the week as often happens at the end of winter.
