Skopje insists on Gruevski's extradition

Authorities in Skopje will ask Hungary to revoke the decision to grant asylum to former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

Justice Minister Renata Deskoska said that the state of Macedonia will request the extradition of Gruevski from Hungary, reports Indeksonline.

According to the minister, Hungarian authorities will receive Skopje's arguments through email, as the former prime minister's claims are not true.

Nikola Gruevski fled Macedonia last week to escape a two-year prison sentence on charges of abuse of office.Indeksonline/
