Tesla no longer accepts orders in Europe for two of its models

Tesla has quietly stopped taking new orders for its luxury Model S and Model X models in Europe. Buyers can now only choose from cars that are already in stock, while the Model 3 and Model Y continue to be ordered as normal.

Instead of a classic order button and configurator, customers are now redirected to the “Explore Inventory” page, where they can only select pre-assembled and pre-manufactured models that are currently in stock. The Model 3 and Model Y remain available for order as usual.

That doesn't mean the Model S and X are completely gone from Europe, but the selection is limited to what Tesla already has parked in warehouses and showrooms. Some configurations can still be found in some countries, but when these vehicles go on sale, there won't be any new ones until Tesla reactivates the configurator or announces a new sales phase. Analysts warn that the two models only make up a small portion of Tesla's sales in Europe anyway, with the bulk going to the cheaper Model 3 and Model Y./Indeksonline/
