Tesla sells an external battery for Android phones and iPhones
Last week, Tesla introduced the Roadster supercar and the Tesla Semi semi-truck, but the company unveiled another product that didn't get as much attention as the first two.
Prominent for electric cars, Tesla introduced an external battery that can be used to charge your Android phone or iPhone battery on the go.
It may seem strange, but the company produces batteries for consumers such as the Tesla Powerwall, which is used to supply electricity to homes, especially in the event of natural disasters.
The Tesla Powerbank is sold from the company's website and has the same cell used in the Model X and S cars.
Technically, the battery is not much different from other external batteries and the price of $45 is pretty steep.
However, some of them are only compatible with one phone model. Tesla has also spent time and energy on the exterior design.
The powerbank is slim, compact and easy to carry.
