Thaçi's witness, Duncan: I eagerly await the response of the Prosecution in The Hague
Former British Ambassador John Stewart Duncan, who was the third defense witness in the trial of former President Hashim Thaçi in The Hague, commented this week on developments in the Specialist Chambers.
Through a post on X, Duncan described the week as "extremely significant" for the defense, praising the closing arguments presented and emphasizing the importance of the detailed summary he provided during his testimony.
The former ambassador added that he eagerly awaits the Prosecution's response regarding his testimony, ironically commenting on the fact that it considered his knowledge of the situation on the ground to be limited.
A fascinating week at @SpecialChambers I look forward to hearing the prosecution explain how the very detailed briefing I mentioned several times in my own testimony represents "Scant knowledge of ... the reality on the ground" @MiseticLaw
