German Foreign Minister in the Balkans next week, expected to visit Kosovo

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is expected to visit the six Western Balkan countries next week, as part of Berlin's continued support for the region's path towards the European Union.

His visit begins on Sunday in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then continues to Montenegro, Albania and Serbia. On Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2025, Wadephul will arrive in Kosovo, where he is expected to meet with President Vjosa Osmani, acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, as well as German KFOR soldiers.

The tournament will conclude on Wednesday in North Macedonia.

According to the announcement, this trip is part of Germany's commitment to supporting the Western Balkans' path towards European integration, to which Berlin remains committed.
