KP union expresses condolences for police officer who died on his way to work

The Kosovo Police Union has expressed condolences for the passing of police officer Ismet Isufi.

Ismet Isufi is suspected to have died of a heart attack and then committed suicide on "Zagrebi" Street in Pristina.

"On the occasion of the death of police officer Ismet Isufi, we express our most sincere condolences to his family, friends and all members of the Kosovo Police. Kosovo Police Union," the condolence telegram reads.

The Kosovo Police have also made statements regarding this case.

"Around 06:30 on 'Zagrebi' street in Pristina, a traffic accident occurred, involving a car. Police and emergency units immediately went to the scene, where the latter determined the death of the victim (police officer), which is suspected to have occurred before the accident. The Regional Traffic Unit is handling the case, while investigations are underway to clarify the exact causes of the accident."
