The US is offering a $10.000 reward for these people
The United States Department of Homeland Security is expected to announce a plan on Thursday to reward Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers who continued to work during the 43-day government shutdown with $10,000.
A department spokesperson confirmed that the Homeland Security secretary will make the official announcement about the bonuses, which will be given as a token of appreciation to employees who did not interrupt their service despite the interruption of federal funding.
President Donald Trump said this week that he would pay the same amount to air traffic controllers who worked during the shutdown, calling them "heroes" for keeping air transport running during a difficult time.
