Accused in 400 kg cocaine case: I don't know where the narcotics found in meat packages were destined for

In the trial for the seizure of 400 kilograms of cocaine, defendant Faton Vrajolli continued his defense on Thursday, saying that he does not know where the narcotics found in the packages of meat ordered were intended for.

In the case of 400 kilograms of cocaine coming from Brazil, the owner of the company "MC FOOD", Izet Sheqiri, and four others are being accused: Faton Vrajolli, Kadri Sheqiri, Kadri Rrahimi, Fehmi Bytyqi, reports "Oath for Justice".

According to the accused, the arrival of trucks from the Port of Durres was between 10 and 15 trucks and that the maximum stay at the port is 10 days and if it stays any longer, extra payment must be made.

Vrajolli also said that in the past there have been cases when a quantity of goods has been missing or when the goods have arrived damaged and that the supplier has always been notified of this circumstance, requesting compensation from the same.

Vrajolli explained that the MC FOOD company is also headquartered in Albania and that Izet Sheqiri is a co-owner with a person named Bledar.

Regarding this name, the prosecutor asked to confirm whether the person is Bledar Habilaj, which the accused Vrajolli confirmed.

But, Izet Sheqiri's defense attorney, lawyer Florent Latifaj, objected to this, asking that it not be manipulated since his last name is Habili. To this, lawyer Latifaj said that he would also bring the testimony, while prosecutor Krasniqi explained that the questions are based on the minutes of the interrogation of the accused Vrajolli at the prosecutor's office.

Afterwards, the session was adjourned to continue in the afternoon session with the defense of the accused Vrajolli if the trial panel has any questions for him, and then the defense of the accused Izet Sheqiri begins.

Along with the five accused, Hyzri Sheqiri and Naim Morina were also accused in this case, but after reaching the agreement on the admission of guilt, the criminal case against them was separated.
