CEC: The counting process is continuing in most municipalities, ending in Junik, Mamusha and Zvecan

The spokesperson for the Central Election Commission (CEC), Valmir Elezi, has announced that the envisaged process is continuing normally in all Municipal Counting Centers (MCCs) in the country.

According to him, by 16:00 PM on Tuesday, the counting process had been completed in three municipalities: Junik, Mamusha and Zveçan, while in Hani i Elezit it closed on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, at 16:00 PM on Tuesday, work also began in three new Municipal Counting Centers: Pristina, Podujeva and Kllokot.

Elezi explained that three important processes are taking place simultaneously in the Municipal Counting Centers:

verification of the results of the elections for Mayors,

verification of the results of political entities from the elections for Municipal Assemblies,

as well as counting the votes of candidates for members of the Municipal Assemblies.

According to the latest data, by 16:00 p.m., the results for 550 polling stations from the mayoral elections and the results for political entities from 334 polling stations have been verified. The votes of candidates for the Municipal Assemblies have also been counted from the same number of polling stations.

Meanwhile, the results from the Municipal Counting Centers have begun to be published on the official CEC platform, which include:

verified results from the mayoral elections,

verified results of political entities,

as well as the votes of candidates for Municipal Assemblies.
