End of an era, Audi says goodbye to the S6

Another new model that raises doubts; Audi has removed the S6 gasoline sedan from production.

The model no longer has a clear place in the brand, with the latest internal combustion A6 now offering a standard 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine and an electric S6 E-Tron.

As reported, Audi has no plans to offer an S6 variant for the current petrol A6 model.

The outgoing model, the S6, comes with Audi's 3.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged V6 hybrid engine, which produces 444 horsepower.

Audi launched the performance-oriented S6 model more than 30 years ago as a model above the regular A6.
