The first electric Skoda arrives in 2020
Skoda announced that in 2020 the Mlada Boleslav factory will start producing electric vehicles.
Skoda's electrification will begin with plug-in hybrid versions of the Superb and Kodiaq models. Both vehicles are powered by a hybrid system, consisting of a 1,4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 116 horsepower electric motor. The total power of the hybrid system will be 218 horsepower.
The first fully electric Skoda will arrive in 2020 and will be based on the Vision E concept, which was presented in the first half of 2017.
