The first flying car will hit the market in 2019

The advancement of technology is increasingly surpassing what we could have imagined a few years ago. None of us would have imagined that flying cars would soon be on the market.

Volvo's parent company, Geely, has won the license to make the Terrafugia flying car a reality, bringing vehicles that take the streets and sky one step closer to reality.

Terrafugia's "road-legal airplane" was approved last year by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to be certified as a light sport aircraft, paving the way for the development of hybrid vehicles weighing up to 1,800 pounds.

Following the acquisition, Terrafugia aims and informs that the first flying car will most likely be on the market in 2019.
