Selim's lawyer: The SPO has failed to prove its claims

Rexhep Selimi's closing defense statements are being given at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

His attorney, Eric Tully, stated that the Special Counsel's Office has not presented evidence to substantiate the allegations against his client.

“The SPO has not provided evidence to establish that the actions or omissions of Mr. Selimi, as Minister of Public Order, played any role in the commission of the crimes described in the indictment, or that he is responsible for the actions of other persons in connection with these crimes,” Tully said.

He simultaneously stated that there was no such police force of the KLA or the Ministry of Public Order that was supervised by Selimi.
