The National Stadium in Drenas will be the most beautiful in Kosovo and the Region

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, together with the Speaker of the Parliament, Kadri Veseli, and the Mayor of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, visited the location where the Kosovo National Stadium will be built.

Minister Gashi announced that the MCYS has developed procedures for selecting companies for feasibility. The Minister indicated that six companies have been selected in a narrow circle and will be involved in this process.

"19 prestigious companies that have designed international stadium projects have competed, they are renowned companies and it is a good fortune that we had such companies in our call for project design", explained the minister.

"We will soon select one of the best projects that these companies will design and we will present the same to the public as to what the National Stadium will look like, which will be built in the Municipality of Drenas", said Minister Gashi. adding that for the first time Kosovo will have a high-level stadium with a capacity of 25-30 thousand seats and it will be the biggest investment of the state of Kosovo in sports infrastructure.

The Minister also thanked the Speaker of the Assembly, Veseli, and the Speaker of Drenas, Lladrovci, for the interest and willingness shown in implementing this capital project, which is the largest in the history of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Mayor Veseli thanked Minister Gashi and Mayor Lladrovci for their commitment and finalization of the preparatory procedures for the launch of the stadium.

"This stadium, in this place, which will be built in Drenas, in the center of Kosovo, will be one of the most beautiful stadiums that not only the Republic of Kosovo will have, but I am very sure that it will also be in the region. be the most beautiful. It will be a stadium with the highest standards and at the same time, history will be made in this country", said the speaker of the parliament emphasizing the fact that the boys who will play in this stadium will achieve historic successes for the Republic of Kosovo.

Mayor Veseli also spoke about other investments in the area where the stadium will be built, so that there will be employment for young people so that they can stay in Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Mayor Lladrovci said that the Municipality and the citizens of Drenas were fortunate to have the National Stadium built in the Municipality of Drenas. He mentioned the cooperation he had with the MCYS and Minister Gashi in developing and completing the procedures for the transfer of the properties to the Ministry.

Mayor Lladrovci offered the full support of the Municipality, MCYS and other stakeholders for the implementation of this project.
